Happy Halloween! Do you have a child with hearing loss? Check out the following tips to ensure your trick-or-treater has a fun and safe Halloween.

If your child wears hearing aids, do a pre-check before you head out. Put some fresh batteries in the  hearing aids and make sure the aids are clean and working properly. Take some extra batteries with you as well. Plan your route before hand and pick a designated meeting, such as a familiar neighbourhood landmark, in case you get separated. It also helps to dress your child in bright colours, so they are more easily seen by drivers.

Follow these steps to ensure everyone has a safe and fun-filled Halloween!
