I grew up in the Netherlands, where I attended both high school and university before serving in the Dutch Armed Forces from 1998 to 2005.

My journey into hearing care began after moving to Canada, where I completed the Hearing Instrument Specialist course through the International Hearing Society.

I’ve always been fascinated by the physics behind sound and I enjoy working with people, so this profession is a perfect fit for me as I get to do both! Each day I perform hearing assessments, explain results to patients, discuss the best hearing options, fit hearing aids, and make sure devices are clean and working well.

What I love most about my work is helping people stay connected to the world of sound around them, supporting them to hear and live better.

Outside the office, you’ll often find me playing guitar, recording or listening to music, and reading.
