April showers are certainly here. If you have hearing aids now is the time to start thinking about protecting them from moisture exposure, which can lead to corrosion and damage to the electronics. Most of today’s state-of-the-art hearing aids have a moisture coating to protect them from minor moisture exposure. However, with the wet springs and humid summers we tend to have here in the on the east coast, sometimes this is not enough.

A simple cost effective solution is to use a Dri Aid Kit. These kits are small containers that you put your hearing aids in over night. The kit contains small silicone beads that absorb the moisture from the hearing aids. Using this on a regular basis can help prevent moisture from damaging your hearing aids, extending their life in the long run.
